FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Golden Reserve products.

What is Manuka honey and why is it special?

Manuka honey is produced by bees that pollinate the Manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) native to New Zealand. It contains methylglyoxal (MGO) — a naturally occurring compound with potent antibacterial properties. Our honey is independently verified to contain 512+ MGO, making it among the most potent available.

What does 512+ MGO mean?

MGO stands for Methylglyoxal — the key antibacterial compound in Manuka honey. A rating of 512+ MGO means each kilogram of honey contains at least 512 mg of methylglyoxal. The higher the MGO number, the more potent the honey. Our 512+ MGO rating is independently verified by a third-party lab.

What is Bee Bread?

Bee bread is one of nature's most nutrient-dense superfoods. It is created when bees ferment pollen with honey and enzymes inside the honeycomb. This natural fermentation process makes the 250+ naturally occurring nutrients — vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes — up to 3x more bioavailable than regular bee pollen.

How is Golden Reserve honey sourced?

Our Manuka honey is sourced exclusively from small, remote apiaries in New Zealand's pristine wilderness. We work directly with trusted beekeepers who use ethical, sustainable harvesting practices. Every batch is raw, unprocessed, and tested independently before it reaches you.

Is your honey raw and unprocessed?

Yes. Our Manuka honey is completely raw and unprocessed. It is never heated above natural hive temperatures, which preserves all the natural enzymes, antioxidants, and beneficial compounds. What you receive is exactly what the bees produced — nothing added, nothing removed.

How should I take Manuka honey?

We recommend 1–2 teaspoons daily, ideally on an empty stomach in the morning. You can eat it straight from the spoon, spread it on toast, stir it into warm (not hot) tea, or mix it into yogurt. Avoid adding it to boiling water as excessive heat can degrade its beneficial properties.

How do I use Bee Bread?

Start with 1 teaspoon of Bee Bread daily. You can take it directly or mix it into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, or sprinkle it on fruit. It has a mildly sweet, slightly fermented flavor. For best results, take it consistently every day.

How long will one jar last?

With a daily serving of 1 teaspoon, our 250g jar of Manuka Honey lasts approximately 50 days. Our Bee Bread jar provides roughly 30–45 days of daily servings. For continuous use, we recommend the Golden Bundle which gives you 15% off both products.

What is your return policy?

We stand behind our products with a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we'll make it right — no questions asked.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders over $75. Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days and arrive within 5–7 business days for domestic orders.

Is Manuka honey safe for children?

Manuka honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months of age, as with all honey products. For children over 1 year and adults, it is generally safe. We always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional if you have specific health concerns.
